I know my master password, but it doesn't work!
Please troubleshoot this issue with the following:
- Type out your master password in a plain text document and copy/paste this data to ensure that all keys are being entered correctly.
- Check that you see the same 'invalid' password error in the online Vault at https://lastpass.com as well as the local extension login via the LastPass Icon.
- If both are still showing as invalid, please follow the steps here for account recovery.
- If only the local LastPass Icon extension is showing as invalid, please uninstall LastPass from your browser and re-install the extension, as there is likely an issue with the extension.
If you are only seeing this for your mobile device:
- Verify with the same copy/paste from a plain text document that the password is being entered correctly.
- Please uninstall and re-install the appllication.
- If you have any special characters in your master password, this may be causing the issue as well.
