If you're having problems staying logged in between browser restarts:
If you're having problems with the LastPass Firefox addon:
  1. With the current Lastpass Firefox addon installed on your compouter, check Firefox -> Tools -> Web Developer -> Error Console (if you can't find the Error Console, hitting Ctrl+Shift+J, or Command+Shift+J on Mac OS X, will also bring it up). If you do not see anything related to LastPass you'll probably need: console^2. Make sure you select 'All' in the console to see all the errors.
  2. Attach any errors to your Support Ticket. If you have not created a Support Ticket yet, please do so by clicking here.

If you're having issues with the LastPass Installer or LastPass IE addon:
  1. If you have the possibility please record the whole process on video.
  2. Start the LastPass component, with which you have problem(Installer, Internet Explorer or Lastpass For Applications), and try to reproduce the issue. After you have successfully reproduced the issue, stop using the program.
  3. Collect the following log files (if exitsts):
    - %TEMP%\Low\lastpass_setup.log* (eg:C:\Users\johndoe\AppData\Local\Temp\Low\lastpass_setup.log)
    - %TEMP%\Low\lastpass*.log* (eg:C:\Users\johndoe\AppData\Local\Temp\Low\lastpass.log)
    - %TEMP%\Low\lastapp*.log* (eg:C:\Users\johndoe\AppData\Local\Temp\Low\lastapp.log)
  4. If the URLs you went to are sensitive you can edit them out of the collected log files.
  5. Send us all of the collected files by zipping them up and attaching them to your Support Ticket If you have not created a Support Ticket yet, please do so by clicking here

If you're having a Form Fill Issue:
  1. Go to LastPass Icon -> Fill Forms -> Clear Forms to ensure that your personal data is not on the page
  2. Go to File -> Save Page As -> pick a good filename and hit Save.
  3. Go to the directory where you saved the web page file and select the filename and the filename_files directory, right click and send to a compressed folder (zip them up basically).
  4. Attach the zip file to your Support Ticket. If you have not created a Support Ticket yet, please do so by clicking here.

If you're having problems with the LastPass for Chrome extension:
  1. Startup Chrome -> Right click on the LastPass Icon -> Manage Extension
  2. Ensure that 'Developer Mode' is checked in the upper right
  3. Find the tile for LastPass and click on background.html
  4. If the console log isn't already showing at the bottom, click the "show console" button in the lower left
  5. Copy and paste the console log (highlight it all and then hit Control-C), and copy it to your Support Ticket. If you have not created a Support Ticket yet, please do so by clicking here.

If you're having problems with the LastPass for Safari extension:
  1. Right-click on the Extension's drop-down menu and select Inspect Element
  2. Enable Developer Mode/make Developer options visible
  3. Create your Support Ticket and contact support for further information on how to go forward

If you're having problems with the LastPass for Opera extension:
  1. Open the error console by choosing: Opera -> Tools -> Adanced -> Error Console
  2. Clear the error console and then try to recreate the issue
  3. Copy the contents of the error console (highlight it all and then hit Control-C), and copy it to your Support Ticket. If you have not created a Support Ticket yet, please do so by clicking here.

If you're having problems using your YubiKey with LastPass:
  1. Make sure you are running the latest version of LastPass available from https://lastpass.com/
  2. Visit this test page and press your YubiKey: https://lastpass.com/debug_yubikey.php
    NOTE: Some YubiKeys output a different result if you hold down the button for 1second vs 3seconds: be sure to try both!
  3. If the test succeeds:
       Let us offer you more assistance by entering the test details into your Support Ticket. If you have not created a Support Ticket yet, please do so by clicking here.
  4. Otherwise, if the test fails:
       Visit this second test page: http://demo.yubico.com/ and send the results to Yubico for analysis

    NOTE:LastPass supports Dvorak keyboard layouts. As of January 2010, Yubico has issues supporting some non-QWERTY keyboard layouts. If you are using a non-standard keyboard, please contact them for an update if your keyboard layout is supported.
    NOTE:If you used Yubico's personalization tool to change your key that you likely invalidated it. To restore it to a working state, please refer to this page: Upload AES Key To Yubico or follow these instructions:
    1. Download the Yubico Personalization Tool from Yubico.
    2. Use the "Configure a YubiKey for upload to the Yubico server" option.
    3. It links to the upload site and you should test the key after you enter the key details.

If you're having problems with the LastPass app on Android:
  1. Start the LastPass app
  2. Go to navigation drawer ("three bars" icon in upper-left corner), then select Settings -> Help and Support, then check "Enable Logging" if it isn't checked already
  3. Reproduce the problem
  4. Send us your logs via Settings -> Help and Support -> View Log -> Share (either by saving them to a text file and then attaching them to your Support Ticket, or emailing them to support@lastpass.com)
