Why can't my user see shared folders in the vault when being added via a user group?

When being added to shared folders via a user group, the user does not see the shared folders right away. He or she will see the folder when another user who already has access to the folders re-logs in using a LastPass extension(not via lastpass.com).

It is because sharing is strictly done between sharers and share recipients as mentioned here; LastPass does not have access to the folders. When the other user re-logs into LastPass using the extension, LastPass can get the public key from the user and pass it to the new user in the backend. 

Note:

If your enterprise has many shared folders, and the new user does not get all shared folders at once, then it could take sometime for the user to see all shared folders because they will be assigned in batches. As users who already have access to the shared folders re-log in, the user will get to see all shared folders.

Since it is LastPass' default behavior for users to stay logged in after browser/machine restarts, it will be helpful if you could force your users to re-log in more often (at least once a day) by enabling the auto-logoff override policies. See the list of policies here.
