How can I obtain Console and Network Logs for LastPass in Chrome?

When you are experiencing issues with LastPass and you want to see if any errors are generating in Developer Tools follow these steps. 

 

Console

  1. Log into Https://LastPass.com/?ac=1
  2. Open Developer Tools by following the advice here https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/
  3. Open the Console Tab (developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/console/#opening_the_console)
  4. Clear the log (https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/console/#clearing)
  5. Enable Preserve Log (https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/console/#preserve-log)
  6. Try to reproduce the error 
  7. If there are errors they will show on the screen, if no errors the page will be blank
  8. Send us a screenshot of any errors that you see.

Network

  1. In Developer Tools, navigate to the Network Tab
  2. Make sure that it is set to record (https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/network-performance/reference#record)
  3. Clear the log (https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/network-performance/reference#clear)
  4. Enable Preserve Log (https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/network-performance/reference#preserve-log)
  5. Try to reproduce the error
  6. Errors will show in red
  7. Send us a screenshot of any errors that you see.
