When I Accept a share, I get the message, "Sorry, your share data could not be decrypted. Please try again later." How do I fix this?
If you receive this message while accepting a share, please have the share re-sent and try to open it again. If you still receive this message after having the Share resent, this means that your Sharing Key was likely corrupted. The Sharing Key needs to be deleted and recreated. Please do all of the following steps:
- Remove yourself from any Shared Folders if applicable
- If you received this error while trying to share with another user, please remove them from any Shared Folders as well using the same advice in step 1.
- Contact LastPass support by submitting a support ticket with this error message and the email address of the user you are trying to share with to recreate the Sharing Key. LastPass support will help you recreate the Sharing Key.
- Once your Sharing Key is recreated, you can reshare any shared items
