We Can Help

Will viewing my credit report affect my credit score?

No. If you request or purchase a copy of your credit report for your personal use, your credit score should not be affected.

There are two methods of pulling a credit report:

  • Soft Pull - This occurs when you request a copy of your credit report or when a business requests a copy of your credit report or credit score for informational purposes, such as credit monitoring or checking your credit as part of an employment screening process. A soft pull will not affect your credit score.
  • Hard Pull - This occurs when a business requests a copy of your credit report to determine creditworthiness and assess your eligibility for a new line of credit or account. A hard pull will affect your credit score.

Using LastPass credit monitoring alerts or LastPass Premium credit monitoring does not affect your credit score.
