To attach files to Secure notes, the binary component must be installed. Once installed, do the following:
Go to your LastPass Vault
Click on the edit/pencil icon
Click on the paperclip icon
Choose the correct file
Save the note.
You may need to Refresh Sites (LastPass Icon > More Options > Advanced > Refresh Sites) if the change does not seem to appear right away.
