Account Recovery: No disabled OTPs were found for your account.

If you see the error message:

Account Recovery: No disabled OTPs were found for your account.

this means that there are no recovery OTPs for your account. A recovery OTP is a One Time Password that is generated when you log into the LastPass extension. Only one recovery OTP exists per browser per computer. Once used, it will disappear and can only be generated by logging into the LastPass extension again.

Recovery OTPs can be cleared in 4 ways:

  1. You have changed your Master Password
  2. You have used account recovery and logged in succesfully but did not generate a new one afterwards
  3. You have cleared your Local Cache
  4. You have disabled recovery OTPs by going to your LastPass Icon > Preferences > Advanced > unchecked 'Save a disabled One Time Password locally for Account Recovery'

To generate a recovery OTP, install the LastPass extension and login via the icon.
