I am an Admin for the LastPass Enterprise account, but do not have access to a Shared Folder, why is this?

Administrators to the LastPass Enterprise account are not given access to all Shared Folders by default. Only the creator of the Shared Folder and those that were explicitly added to the Shared Folder will have access. However, by enabling the policy Super Admin - Shared Folders, Super Admins will have access to all Shared Folders, whether or not they were explicitly added to the Shared Folder.

How to enable Super Admin - Shared Folders policy

1. Go to Admin Console > Settings > Policies > click Add Policy > select Super Admin - Shared Folders.

2. Click Show List and save email addresses of users who you want to make super admins.

3. Click Save again to save the policy.

4. Existing shared folders will be automatically populated in your vault when another user who could see the folders in his/her vault re-logs in using LastPass plugin.  If your enterprise has a large number of shared folders, they will be assigned per batch in the back end so it may take some time (for other users to re-log in using LastPass extension) before you could see all shared folders.

5. New shared folders are shared with super admins the moment they are created.
