The LastPass team believes your online experience can be easier, faster and safer. Collectively we lose more than 10,300 hours per year retrieving lost passwords, making new ones or talking to call center representatives about them. And it gets much worse if a password is stolen and misused. We go online to connect with people, explore, shop and learn. We certainly don't go online to fuss with passwords or risk our privacy, personal or financial information. Designed by web enthusiasts and skilled application developers, LastPass was created to make the online experience easier and safer for everyone.

Management Team

The lead software developers spend most of their waking hours on the web and bring more than thirty years of combined development, network security and user interface experience to LastPass. The senior team first worked together developing integrated VoIP (voice over the Internet) and e-commerce technology at eStara, Inc. where they designed, built, launched the most widely deployed web-based 'Push to Talk', 'Call Tracking' and 'Click-to-Chat' services in the world. Their clients included leading e-commerce and financial services brands like Amazon, HSBC, Dell, TD Canada Trust, American Express and Yahoo. Millions of end users in over 113 countries rely on their applications every day. eStara was acquired by ATG, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARTG) in 2006 for $50 million.

Joe Siegrist, CEO

Joe Siegrist is a founding developer at LastPass and has more than a decade of experience in developing and running Internet applications. An innovative software architect and entrepreneur, he is the named inventor of five key software patents. Previously he was the Chief Technology Officer at eStara Inc., which he and his team built and ran from scratch; it was acquired by ATG Inc. in 2006 for $50 million. Joe holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and is second only to Andrew Zitnay (bio below) in his love for Maryland basketball.

Sameer Kochhar

Sameer is a founding developer at LastPass. He brings more than twelve years of software engineering and user interface development to the company. Prior to launching LastPass, Sameer spent seven years as a senior software developer at eStara and previously held product development positions at Nortel Networks. Sameer graduated with honors with a B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto. A Canadian citizen of the world, Sameer spends more time playing sports than rooting for them.

Robert Billingslea

Robert is a founding developer at LastPass. He brings more than 11 years of software engineering experience to the company, most recently as a senior developer at eStara. As a software and security expert, Bob brings a mix of large enterprise and start-up expertise to the company. His past experience includes stints at Lockheed Martin, SWIFT and several successful software start-ups. Bob graduated with honors from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and is always an optimist when it comes to Penn State football.

Andrew Zitnay

Andrew is a founding developer at LastPass. Previously, Drew played a major role in the design, implementation and development of core e-commerce, VoIP and web analytics applications at eStara, Inc. Drew brings more than seven years of software development experience to LastPass. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Maryland and is arguably the most fervent supporter of the Terrapins alive.

Cid Ferrara

Cid Ferrara is head of sales at LastPass. Previously, Cid worked with Joe and the team at eStara where she led the North American sales effort, successfully growing the business from scrappy start-up to a key business division in one of today's leading eCommerce software providers (ATG). Cid is mother to two beautiful boys and loves water parks and super heroes almost as much as cloud services.

Amber Gott

Amber joined LastPass as the Marketing Associate in April 2010. She fills a number of roles, including customer support, CRM, market research, and media relations. She's extremely passionate about brand development and customer satisfaction through outstanding, fast support. Amber graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature and Art History from Dartmouth College in 2009. When she's not emailing, tweeting, and Facebooking with LastPass users, she's usually exploring her new home city, plotting her next trip to Spain, or relaxing at a cafe.

Israel Sundseth

Israel joined LastPass as a Graphic/UI design lead in April of 2010. Previously, Israel was employed at Apple, Inc, and holds a BFA in Photography/Graphic Design from SCD. Having the luck to have a parent who worked for an airline, he has been to 41 countries and 48 states, but has somehow avoided North and South Dakota. He is fluent in English, Japanese, and 1337, and is currently learning Korean by playing Starcraft II.
