How do I upgrade from LastPass Teams to LastPass Business?

You can update billing and contact information, set up email notifications, add more licenses, and upgrade to LastPass Business all from your Admin Console. You just need to go to your “Admin Console” > “Settings” > “Team account”.

After selecting “Upgrade’” you’ll be asked to contact a sales associate to upgrade to LastPass Business. This is especially useful for smaller teams looking to upgrade to LastPass Business for larger organizations, where you can discuss your needs with a sales associate to customize your LastPass Business solution.

What is LastPass Teams?

LastPass Teams is a business password management solution intended for teams of less than 50 employees. Teams is a significant step up from having every employee use, say our free plan or LastPass Premium, as Teams allows for finer admin controls over user password sharing and access.

What are the different types of users in LastPass?

There are four types of roles which can be assigned from your LastPass Admin Console: users, helpdesk admin, admins, and super admins. Each role has its own specific functionality so each user has appropriate levels of access to LastPass.

For instance, you can designate an IT team member as a helpdesk admin so they can manage day-to-day master password and LastPass vault support tickets, without giving them access to everything in your LastPass account. How do I share passwords in LastPass Teams and Business?

LastPass Teams and Business support password sharing in multiple ways: LastPass users can share passwords with other users and groups of users, right from their password vault; similarly, admins can create user groups, with set permissions, which they can provide and revoke access to as needed – while onboarding and offboarding.
